| Schedule done - Goldrush | 3:23pm EST | Bucky33 | 5/13 Schedule has been posted. This will be the last week of regular season matches. Some teams have already finished up their 10 matches.
pl_Goldrush will be the map of choice for all matches this week. mp_tournament_stopwatch will be in effect and should make for a smoother AD experience. |

| Config change / map change | 5:48pm EST | Bucky33 | A new set of configs are available. Noteable changes:
* added mp_tournament_stopwatch 1
.....
Castle3 is not compatible with the new mp_tournament_stopwatch. I've spoken with the creator and for some reason it functions incorrectly. Look for a new version of castle soon. The map has been replaced in the rotation with cp_Well. |

| Schedule 2.0 | 11:34pm EST | Bucky33 | A couple rematches were played tonight, so the schedule has been adjusted to get those teams into matches on Tuesday as well.
[GD] & REV6 will now play the following teams on Stag:
[winner] vs [FOoM]
[loser] vs [DJedi] |
| Crazy night / Schedule update | 2:49pm EST | Bucky33 | Valve threw a major curveball to our matches last night. Most got canceled, a few got played, a couple more were forfeit regardless of the valve situation.
Another week has been added to the regular season schedule to accomodate all the rematches that need to be made, as well as catch a few more teams up to 10 total matches. This will also give us an opportunity to test Goldrush along with the other maps we wanted to test.
The schedule for 5/6 has been posted. Many teams are competing in rematches of last week on the same map, cp_Desertfortress. Some teams have moved on to cp_Castle3. A few more teams have been scheduled in exhibition matches on cp_Stag.
[GD] & REV6 have agreed to finish up their regular season on cp_Desertfortress this coming Sunday 5/4. Once completed, they will be scheduled in the following exhibition matches on cp_Stag for Tuesday 5/6:
[winner] vs |RES|
[loser] vs -=|Mr|=-
During the last week of the regular season (5/13) there will be aprox a half dozen regular season matches played. The rest will be exhibitions. The map for the regular season matches is still undecided.
Exhibition matches - These matches will not count towards your regular season total. Once a team has reached 10 matches their season is done. The exhibition matches *will* count towards your team's overall STA record, which does not effect your overall ranking.
Unlockables - They are allowed, currently. There is no evidence for or against their dramatic effect on gameplay in our league. If at any point they are deemed too disruptive for league play, though, we'll certainly take action to prohibit their use. |

| Unlockables released tonight | 9:06pm EST | Bucky33 | A major update is coming out right now. If teams have issues please see an admin immediately.
STA will allow the unlockable weapons for tonights matches. It seems highly unlikely anyone would be able to attain more than the first weapon anyways. Plus there isn't enough time to evaluate the effect good or bad. |

| Schedule 4/29 done :: matches 5/6 | 11:20pm EST | Bucky33 | [edit] scissors gets the uneven teams bye.
4/29 marks the last week of regular season matches for many teams.
5/6 Teams who have completed 10 matches will not be scheduled in seasonal matches. They will compete in exhibition matches (the match doesnt count towards regular season rankings but *will* count towards your all time record).
The map selection will be displayed later, most of those teams can expect to be playtesting some new maps. They may choose to change the map, but are encouraged to help out and kick the tires on some new maps. Teams playing seasonal matches will be scheduled on Castle3.
** - Some people have an issue with calling them exhibition matches if they still count toward your overall STA record. Your overall STA record doesnt effect your ranking; but if calling it an exhibition match bothers you - call it something else :-) |
| Non-rostered players :: Steam community | 2:29pm EST | Bucky33 | Reminder: you're not allowed to use non-rostered players without the opposing team's permission. It is the responsibility of each team to validate their opponents lineup **before the match starts.** Once the match has started each team has effectively accepted the other teams roster.
Pre-match is also the time to validate all server variables, etc.

| Map change; poll | 7:35pm EST | Bucky33 | Just a reminder, teams may agree to change the map anytime they wish. Please log such an agreement.
ctf_Smooth offers a secret health pack in both bases, but in different locations. The blue base hides its pack in the elevator room, accessible by shooting an odd colored block near the top of the elevator lift. A door will open up on the front wall allowing access to the pack. The red base has a secret back stashed down inside the large box in the ramp room, the box in the corner. Jump ontop of it and kneel down to ride down to the pack.
STA will attempt to stray away from maps that are not symetrical in the future. Its my fault this map made the rotation, I was unaware of the secret packs until today. Reminder again, you may switch the map.
...
Vote in the CTF poll. Round 2 of the playoffs will feature a CTF map, at this time we've scheduled Mach4. But we're accepting public opinion and could possibly change our selection. |
