| Update Changes | 3:08pm EST | Infinite- | Hi All,
Valve decided to give us all an early Christmas present, a huge update! After carefully reviewing the updates to the game we have decided to institute the following changes effective for matches on 1/5/2010.
Soldier:
1. Limit the Soldier's Buff Banner to one per team.
2. No limit on Direct Hit/Equalizer
3. No limit on Gunboots
Demo:
1. No limits until we have a few matches under our belt. At first we thought the Chargin' Targe was overpowered, but a demo wielding this item quickly goes down with any hitscan weapons and losing stickies is huge.
As always, we welcome your feedback about the new update and how it may or may not affect 8v8 play on the forums.

| 2 Week Holiday Break | 9:24am EST | Hitman | STA-TF2 (both Highlander and 8v8) will be taking a 2 week holiday break. Lots of teams expressed they might not be able to make matches and this will allow all teams to come back the week of 1/4/2010 and play on a familiar map: cp_well. I will post the schedule on the 29th (or shortly after).
