| Update | 8:43pm EST | GRB | After reviewing feedback in regards to re-opening the STA-ETF 8s division, there just didn't seem to be enough interest. The ETF admins did get some requests for a highlander type division and we may experiment with something like that in the future.
For the time being, we are going to focus on our STA-ETF 4s division which currently features 14 clans and growing weekly. Please visit http://etf.sta-league.org/4on4/ for more info! |

| STA-ETF Format | 12:37pm EST | GRB | STA is looking for more feedback on which format to use. We are definitely going with 8s but need to know which one out of seasonal/king of the hill/highlander style appeals the most. Wraithforger from ETF 4s is going to help get this division going so please post some feedback on the STA-ETF forums.

| Current State of STA-ETF | 11:29pm EST | GRB | As posted on the etf forums...
I'm sorry for this delayed response, I've been busy with other matters lately and again apologize for not keeping everyone updated. I will just lay it all out for everyone.
Here is where STA 9s or 8s stands:
We need someone to step up and shift this league out of park. B0ng has military commitments and will most likely have to step down because of it. I have not been able to contact Deathrayne for the life of me (he will be removed shortly if he doesn't come around). Hitman is speaking to some clans about different formats but nothing solid has come up from him yet. There appears to be interest in an 8s league based on what I have read here. I would offer to run it, but simply don't have the time to do so.
We have gone through too many admins the past couple of months, but I am willing to give this division over to someone who is dedicated to this and has plenty of free time to spare. You will go through the normal application process for this position where other STA admins will review and post feedback.
If anyone is interested, please email me at grb@sta-league.org or grb1117@gmail.com (my sta-league.org email gives me problems from time to time). You can also find me on irc at night.
Thanks and again, sorry for the long delay. |

| STA-ETF Update | 9:46pm EST | GRB | Good news: We had our first set of matches last night.
Bad news: Two clans went inactive, leaving two clans left on the list. Matches will halt for now until we can get more clans. Klipe has sent out an email contacting all clans and Hitman has been speaking to clans as well to attempt to stimulate interest. Hopefully, we can get some feedback to alter the league to better suit the needs of the clans. More info to come.

| STA Server Config and Other News | 1:56pm EST | GRB | The STA server config is up in the file area. Thank Hitman for getting it ready for us.
Also, please check the ETF Forums and your email. STA is currently getting feedback on how we can make this league better for the clans out there. Klipe has sent out a mass email with questions and there is a debate going on in the forums as well.
Next, STA is pleased to announce B0ng as dispute admin for both ETF 9s and 4s divisions. Hopefully we won't keep him too busy.
Finally, remember, matches start Tuesday! |

| STA-ETF 9s Begins Next Tuesday | 9:04pm EST | GRB | After speaking with several clans, we have decided to start matches next Tuesday. The maps follow TWL's for the next 3 weeks and are posted on the sidebar. We are also reviewing to see if going to 8s or 9s depending on the map would make for a better league. More info on that to come.
Hitman will have more information on the config STA will use tommorrow as well.
Good Luck to all clans!

| Roster, Rules, And Administration | 1:35pm EST | Deathrayne | First, I would like to make it a note that clans are required to have a roster with pb id's. A leader can add every member by going to the operations link to the right and choosing update roster. You can add 5 - 10 at a time i believe but after you add those 5-10 add 5-10 more there's no restrictions to roster size. If you don't have their pb guid's that is OK for now i just want people rosters so i know that you have enough. PB guid's will be required at a later date but if you have them put them in now.
Second, we are going to do 9v9 instead of 8v8 because more people like doing 9v9. The rules will be changed in the next day to reflect this change. I hope this will help generate an influx of new clans.
Finally, i would like to reiterate that we are still accepting applications for admin of this league. If you feel you are qualified or just would like to help out either email GRB at grb@sta-league.org or msg me in irc.
