Schedual for 06-28-051:26am EST | Shughart
Well, for what it's worth the last two teams that have not officialy dropped from the league are scheduled for the 28th.
It is evident to all that the STA-DC League has come to an impass and may even be at the beginning of it's end.

DC has been an incredably wild ride for all. It will undoubtedly be remembered by hundreds of players in NA as the all time greatest FPS game ever created. DC has brought many of the toughest teams in the world together and has been the catylist for many great friendships.

At this time I have no idea what the STA management will do with the league, but one thing is certain,..none of us will ever forget our time on the STA-DC Battlefields. And I am sure that I speak for many when I say that it was one of the greatest and funnest leagues ever.

Schedules for 06-21-058:04pm EST | Shughart
Schedules for 06-21 are posted.

There were no scores reported for the matches on the 14th, so there were no wins. And we only have one match scheduled for the 21st.
So it looks like BF2 has taken it's toll on the STA-DC League.
But as long as there are even two teams left that still want to duke it out on the battlefield we'll keep things rolling for you guys.
GL/HF on the 21st.

Schedules are posted for 06-14-0511:57am EST | Shughart
Well, It looks as though BF2 has made a hard impression on the STA-DC division, but we still have 4 teams that want to take it to the trenches. So we are going to keep things alive to the very end.
So 2 matches are scheduled on the 14th.
This will put a new Title holder into the driver's seat and could actually be the beginning of a new era.
It is still way to early to know what impact BF2 is going to have on DC ultimately. But untill then let er rock on as usual
GL/HF on the 14th.

News from the Battlefield, including a Major Upset..!!!10:36am EST | Shughart
WOW,..it looks like TFS finally met their match.
In a stunning upset eS~ took home the win over TFS last night. It was obviously a fight to the finish. TFS did not want to give up the farm, but eS~ gave them a run for their money and pulled off the win.
Both teams payed their dues to be on top. Two great teams working hard to get the job done faced off against each other on the battlefield last night so it couldn't help but be any less than a great match.
Congradulations to eS~ for the win, and a HUGE "uwhrah" to TFS for maintaining that title for sooo long.

In other news from the field:
We have a new team that has joined us in the trenches. *=SAS=* has thrown their hat into the ring and will be stepping up to the plate for some serious competition on the battlefields with us.
From all of us here at STA-DC,..Welcome onboard *=SAS=*. And GL/HF in your upcoming matches.

Also: Schedules are up for next week (06-07-05)

Schedules for 05-31-05 are Posted3:37pm EST | Shughart
Schedules are up for next week (05-31-05).

TFS maintained their title yet again this week..!!! *the voodoo is still working.
They trully do deserve the title that they are working so hard to hold onto.
They are matched against some of the toughest teams out there but they continue to walk off the battlefields victoriously. Their skill on the battlefield is incredable and well fought for to say the least.
I tip my hat to Team TFS,..again.

But, we have some great teams in the league and the battles continue to be awesome competetions. It's proof that it's all of you guys that continue to make DC the great game that it is. And obviously it aint over untill the fat lady sings.

GL/HF to TFS defending their title, and GL/HF to all on the 31st.

Schedules for 05-24 are posted:7:58am EST | Shughart
Schedules for 05-24 are up,..read em and weep.

Yes,..TFS retained their title AGAIN this week.
Obviously TFS has no plans on slowing down at all. They remind me of TeamLORD during our days of Triple Gold,..they are an extreme force to be reckoned with..!!! TFS should stand for "Tough Friggin Supermen". There is no doubt that they are definitely working hard to retain their title. Wow,..how long can they keep up this pace against so many great teams..?!

This is the kind of thing that keeps DC alive as an active mod. BF2 is going to have to be one helluva great game to ever compete with the level of excitement and enthusiasm that DC produces. DC is the King of the mods and personally I doubt that there will ever be a game that can compete with it.
I tip my hat to TFS and wish them the best of luck at retaining their title. And I also wish the best of luck to all of the teams in the league as they try to take it away from them. This is what makes DC the King of the mods.

In the face of adversity "The Spirit of DC Rocks On..!!!"

Schedules are up for: 05-031:06am EST | Shughart
Schedules are posted for May 3rd.

And yes, TFS retains their title for yet another week. Will the madness ever end..?!
I'm sure that GoG will make them work for their keep on the 3rd. And one thing is sure, GoG didn't get the title shot because somebody in the clan has a rich uncle that bought it for them. No,..they've worked hard for it and if they can keep up the pace this should be a great match that could fall either way.
GL/HF to both TFS and GoG and all the teams on the 3rd.

Schedules for Tue, Apr 26, 20053:17am EST | Shughart
Schedules for 4-26 are posted.

Yes, TFS defended their title again last week. And I'm sure that they plan on working VERY hard to retain it.
I can say from my experience with TeamLORD that everyone wants to take a whack at the guys on top, and eS~ is going to get their chance to upset TFS on the 26th.

The spirit of DC rocks on strongly in both of these clans. And there is no doubt that TFS is the King. But eS~ is a tough contender, so this match should prove to be a tough challenge for both eS~ and TFS. GL to both teams, and GL/HF to all on the 26th.

Schedules up!1:40am EST | Maximus
Schedules are posted, TFS defended thier Title last week and GOG will see if they can take it this week.

MM has returned to STA Competition as well, welcome back guys.

Its been a while since I was the DC admin, but for those of you don't know me, I was the one of the Captains for Clan LORD back in the day and I started the STA DC division over a year ago. Since then I've move on to COD and don't get back to DC very often, but it has never left my mind. Shughart will be learning the ropes over the next couple weeks. He's one of those guys that eats, breaths and lives DC. He will be a great addition to the STA staff and the DC divisoin.

Good luck to everyone this week!
