| Goodybe | 9:30am EST | Tet | Well after over 5 years on our second run the division is closing its doors. Is this final? In its current form this is more than likely the end. Theres simply no interest in the kinda of division STA has had in the past. The final judgement on that really belongs to senior admins though so Buzz and I will defer to them.
My thanks to all those long standing clans who made us work so hard to try and keep this division alive. You guys were the reason it was worth it. The ones who made it this long will surely survive without sta-css!
Thanks and take care,
Tet |

| C.JFF tops Season 4 | 1:39am EST | BuzzKill | Our division played an abbreviated schedule this season. Since we did not bother with a typical playoffs session, C.JFF easily took the title due to their undefeated streak throughout the cycle.
Gratz to C.JFF and thanks to the teams that participated! |

| Schedule Revised | 10:21pm EST | BuzzKill | I've revised the remaining shedule to accomodate several teams' requests and calendar conflicts in November. These 2 remaining matches can be played 6v6 if the teams involved prefer. Also, teams can choose to play the matches using CS 1.6 instead of Source, but, only if both teams are in agreement prior to match time. Otherwise, teams should plan on playing 5v5 and Source as usual.
I would recommend that FY matches be played on fy_iceworld, fy_iceworld_arena or fy_snow. Teams can play on other FY maps if they are in agreement. The following variables should be changed for FY matchplay:
mp_freezetime 0
mp_maxrounds 25 (or set to zero and play 25 battles per round) |

| Season 4 Schedule | 1:29am EST | BuzzKill | The map cycle for Season 4 has been posted. Keep in mind that this week's matchups on de_cbble are considered a preseason tuneup. The remainder of the matches will count towards season rankings. I added an 8th week to round out the rotation and will determine which map is going to be scheduled long before November rolls around.
There may be 2 or 3 more teams joined for next week. On that note, a couple teams need to finish getting their rosters input to include Steam IDs.
Good luck to all the teams and have fun! |

| Powered by returns and Operations reminder | 5:16am EST | BuzzKill | Season 2 champs, Powered by, returned to action this past week. Welcome back to the league, Pb.
Also as a reminder, all scheduled teams need to submit their match results every week, preferably on Thursday night after their match. We cannot post the following week's schedule until scores are posted.
FYI, the website appears to be in order now. I have not seen any issues with reporting scores or updating rosters during this past week. Please report any trouble with website functions on the forums ASAP. Thanks. |

| Website migration status and Team ejection | 7:01am EST | BuzzKill | The STA website migration for all divisions has been mostly completed, but, the webmasters are still working out some issues that remain. Currently, the site is not properly processing roster changes made by team contacts. It will act like the change went through, but, when you view your clan's info page your roster will remain unchanged. It's still possible to make adjustments by having one of the admins make the change manually. So, until this problem with the website is resolved, please contact Tet or me with roster change requests.
Now that the webmasters have further restored the site, the previous match schedule has returned and we have no way to adjust the matches to reflect the teams that actually played each other. (for instance, Team Anthrax played against CJFF, but, the schedule shows them having played against -AbS-). I'm going to get feedback from all active teams about our best solution given the situation.
Last, I unfortunately must announce the ejection of universaL (or gamingevo or whatever their name precisely is..) from the division. Infractions include attempt to force their opponent to accept multiple ringers as "admin approved" as well as unsportsmanlike behavior in the #sta-css channel. |
